What changed on Wardcrest, newest first. Small fixes go out every day; this lists what you would notice.

Solana, XRP Ledger and Tron

  • Address and transaction reports for Solana, the XRP Ledger and Tron: balances, counterparties, flows, sanctions screening and a risk score. Paste an address or a Solana signature into any search box.
  • A new monitor, “Solana, XRP or Tron wallet”, alerts when SOL, XRP, TRX, USDC or USDT moves in or out of the addresses you list. Balance alerts work on these chains too.
  • Whale watch now covers Litecoin and all 14 EVM chains, and the token risk checker covers Avalanche, Linea, Scroll, zkSync Era, Blast, Mantle, Gnosis and Celo.
  • On chains no free explorer serves (BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Linea, Scroll, Blast, Mantle, Gnosis), an address report shows the balance and account type instead of an error.
  • The homepage shows prices, the next-block Bitcoin fee and Ethereum gas beside the search on a desktop.
  • Trials are held open until Bitcoin checkout opens, so nobody is moved to Free for a plan they cannot buy yet.
  • Whale alerts: choose a chain, an asset and a size, and get an alert through your channels when whale watch records a transfer that matches. Set one up from Price alerts or from the whale watch page.
  • Realised gains in the portfolio: each tax year’s sales with proceeds, cost basis and gain, by first in, first out (with short and long term, shaped like the US Form 8949) or by average cost, and a CSV for your accountant on Plus and above.
  • An address book for your workspace, under Investigations: name addresses once, and the names label address reports and counterparties for everyone in the workspace. Search it, and import or export it as CSV. A name can hold on one chain or on every EVM chain.
  • The status page keeps a history: every spell in the last 90 days when a service, data feed or chain was degraded or down, with when it started and how long it lasted. Like the live view, it is recorded automatically, never written by hand.
  • Client libraries for the API: one-file TypeScript and Python clients and a Postman collection, generated from the API description so they always match it. Download them from the API reference.
  • A weekly newsletter, free and without an account: the week in markets, the largest transfers, sanctions list changes and security reading, every Monday. Subscribe at /newsletter.
  • Six guides now show the page they teach you to read, as a real screenshot: fee estimates, the gas tracker, market prices, Fear & Greed, an address report and a transaction lookup.
  • DeFi positions: what an address has lent and borrowed on Aave v3 and Compound v3 across 12 EVM chains, the rate on each and how close it is to liquidation, read from the chains themselves. Portfolios show the same for their watch-only EVM wallets.
  • Exchange listings: coins newly listed or delisted on Coinbase, Kraken, OKX and Bitstamp, read from their public pair lists every ten minutes, at /markets/listings, with listing alerts for one coin or all of them.
  • Airdrop history: which of seven big past airdrops (UNI, 1INCH, ENS, OP, SAFE, BLUR, ARB) an address claimed, how much, when and what it is worth today, read from the chain. It never asks for a wallet.
  • NFT sales tracker: what 13 top Ethereum collections actually sold for (typical and cheapest sale, sales and volume over 24 hours), read from Seaport’s and Blur’s own events on-chain.
  • Two new free tools: Solana fees, from what the transactions in a recent block actually paid, and Tron fees, what a TRX or USDT transfer costs in energy, bandwidth and TRX.

Litecoin, more chains, and account basics

  • Litecoin: transaction and address lookups, and Litecoin wallet monitors. A pasted transaction id is now tried on every chain that uses that form, instead of Bitcoin only.
  • Eight more EVM chains for monitoring and gas: Avalanche, Linea, Scroll, zkSync Era, Blast, Mantle, Gnosis and Celo.
  • You can change your account’s email address under Settings → Your account. The new address confirms first, the old one is told, and every session is signed out.
  • A contact form at /contact that reaches a person, with a topic for bugs, billing, account and security questions.
  • Tables on phones stack their cells properly instead of squeezing them into narrow columns.

Wardcrest

  • Vedette is now Wardcrest, at wardcrest.com.
  • Titles and descriptions fit on a search results page, and layouts no longer strand content against one edge on wide screens.

Tools that say when they cannot answer

  • Every free tool now says when its data source could not answer, instead of looking like your input was wrong.
  • The status page shows whether the free tools are answering.

Live prices, whale watch and the developers hub

  • Live prices streamed to the ticker, the markets table and coin pages, from our own index: the median of Coinbase Exchange, Kraken, OKX and Bitstamp, with outliers left out.
  • Whale watch: large transfers on Bitcoin and the EVM chains as their blocks come in, with known exchanges named from the address lists they publish.
  • The developers hub at /developers: the API reference, price widgets, and bots for Discord and Telegram.
  • Guides and the glossary: search and level filters on /learn, diagrams for fees, RBF, CPFP, UTXOs and multisig, and glossary previews from links in a guide.
